Born in Jerusalem, 1964. Lives and works in Moshav Noham and in Tel Aviv.
Graduated the Department of Industrial Design, Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem (1993). After graduating, worked as a toys designer at a start-up company for a few years and developed metal products.
Since 2000 works as an Independent Designer.
His work focuses on the design process. Villy designs containers, furniture and lighting pieces, as a part of a continuos research in low pressure plastic injection,
a unique technique he has developed.
Graduated the M.des program in Industrial design from Bezalel academy of art and design, Jerusalem (2003),
and since 2006 serves as the head of the Industrial design department, Avni Institute, Tel Aviv.
Participated in various design exhibitions, among others: "Salone Satellite", International furniture exhibition, Milan(2001),
"Abitare il Tempo",traveling exhibition in Verona, Prague, Frankfurt and Riga (2001),
"New design from Israel",Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, New York, "Installation situation",
Haifa museum of art,group exhibition (2005), "In front of your nose",Tel aviv museum, group exhibition (2006)
