BCXSY was founded by Boaz Cohen and Sayaka Yamamoto in 2007 and launched 5 collections during the Salone del Mobile in Milan; PLAY! (2007), FOREVER! (2008), CHANGE! (2009), Origin part I: Join (2010) and Origin part II: Balance (2011).

Their work has been widely published and exhibited worldwide, including a solo-show at the Established & Sons LIMITED gallery (London) during the Frieze Art Fair, and also featured at the Design Museum. In 2010 they received the Wallpaper* award for the Join screens and were also shortlisted for the Brit Insurance Designs of the Year Awards.

Boaz - born 1978, graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2006.

Sayaka - born 1984, graduated from Hiko Mizuno Jewelry College in Tokyo in 2005, graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2008.
